James Randerson in the Guardian, Monday 16 July 2007: «Descendants of Dolly«, writes that «Scientist will have to work hard to persuade a cynical public to tuck in to the idea of cloned meat».
I suppose that with modern ill-usage by «cynical» Mr Randerson means «skeptical».
He informs us that the US Food and Drug Administration on a preliminary report say that «Edible products derived from the progeny of clones pose no additional food consumption risks relative to corresponding products from other animals».
Well, they would say that, wouldn’t they?

I can only add that, in my humble opinion, «one man’s cloned meat is another man’s poison«.
